Which languages are supported?

English, Hindi and Arabic, using Tesseract's most accurate models. Pick only the languages that appear in your image for the best results.

How can I get the best accuracy?

Use a sharp, well-lit photo or scan where the text is straight and not too small. Screenshots and scans work best; photos of screens or curved pages are harder.

Can it read handwriting?

OCR works best on printed text. Clear block handwriting is sometimes recognized, but cursive handwriting usually is not.

Images travel over an encrypted connection, are processed automatically on our servers and are deleted within an hour. You can delete them immediately after downloading. We never look at or share your images.
