How do I resize an image without stretching it?

Keep “Lock aspect ratio” on and enter just the width or the height; the other side follows automatically.

Can I resize to an exact size like 600 × 600?

Yes. Pick a preset or enter both sides and choose “Fill & crop”. The image is cropped from the center to fill the size without distortion.

Does resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much larger than the original can look soft, because new detail can't be invented.
