What is image metadata?

Hidden information stored inside photos: camera model, date and time, editing software and often the GPS location where the photo was taken.

Does removing metadata change the image?

No. For JPG, PNG and WebP the pixels are copied byte for byte; only the hidden data is removed. The colour profile is kept so colours look the same.

Can I process many images at once?

Yes. Add as many images as you need in one go. A single image downloads directly; several images download together as a ZIP file.

Images travel over an encrypted connection, are processed automatically on our servers and are deleted within an hour. You can delete them immediately after downloading. We never look at or share your images.
