What size is a passport size photo?

The most common size is 35 × 45 mm, used by India, the UK, the EU and Schengen area, Australia, Pakistan and many others. The USA uses 2 × 2 inches (51 × 51 mm) and Canada 50 × 70 mm. Pick your country or document in the size list.

How many passport photos fit on a 4×6 sheet?

Eight 35 × 45 mm photos fit on a 4 × 6 inch (10 × 15 cm) sheet with 2 mm gaps, and two 2 × 2 inch photos. An A4 sheet holds 30 photos of 35 × 45 mm.

Will the photos print at the right size?

Yes. Sheets are made at 300 or 600 DPI with the size stored in the file, and the PDF has the exact paper size. Print at 100% or Actual size, without fit to page.

Can I change the background to white?

Yes. In the Background step, Replace background (AI) removes the room behind the person; then choose white, off-white, light grey or blue.

Is the photo accepted by the passport office?

The tool gives you the correct size and head position guides, but requirements change and each office checks lighting, expression and background. Always check the latest rules with the passport office, embassy or visa centre.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Editing happens entirely in your browser, so photos never leave your device. The only exception is the optional AI background removal, which sends the photo to our server and deletes it right after.
